Projects in the commercial
sector range from small scale refurbishment's of Georgian office properties, through
bespoke headquarters buildings to multi-million pound office parks. A track
record of completing commercial projects on time and on budget has been established.
The practice combines a total commercial approach to projects with imaginative
design. Careful attention to financial constraints and client requirements has
given rise to an enviable number of repeat commissions from prestigious clients. While working within the constraints of commercial viability the aim is to
create attractive environments using exciting design and quality construction by
combining the best of tradition with the advantages offered by modern materials.
The practice
has considerable experience in retail projects including conversion and new build
projects. Projects carried out range from individual shop unit fit outs to
master planning for retail parks. One of the practices principle clients are
Glasgow Rangers Football club. Projects for Rangers have ranged from the
main stand renovation works, the upgrading and expansion of existing decks and
facilities, to the new Rangers training facility.
Recent retail projects include the
new Superstore for Glasgow Rangers Football Club at Ibrox stadium and new retail outlets for the
club in St Enoch's shopping Centre and other city locations.

The practice has been architects for
Rangers Football Club for more than 10 years. The award winning Main Stand project was a
unique architectural and engineering challenge. A spectacular new deck was created above
the Listed 1928 stand with spans of up to 100 meters. This was achieved in only 18 months
without a single game being missed by the spectators in the seats underneath. £30 million in
major projects have created one of the top 10 Stadiums in Europe. Creativity
and innovation in design have allowed challenging targets to be met within strict time
constraints.
Dramatic but sympathetic end towers were the chosen solution to the
challenge of adding the capacity equal to a small stadium to the 1928 listed design.

The £9 million Training Centre and Youth Academy was also undertaken by the
practice, giving Glasgow Rangers one of the best and most sophisticated
facilities in European football.
An enviable reputation has been gained for designing some of
Edinburgh's,
The Borders and Perthshire's finest
new houses. The practice has over 25 years experience in all aspects of
residential design from the individual one-off to distinctive houses for the
private
developer.

The design of distinctive house for the individual client is a particularly
rewarding sphere of architectural practice and it is equally satisfying when the client
gains equal pleasure from living in the end product.
House designs combine the best of
traditional materials with a modern but comfortable approach to
design. Interesting rooms and spaces are combined with
the landscaped setting while respecting budgetary constraints and
carefully tailoring the design to individual client's needs and
wishes.
